A Day (or Afternoon) at the Improv
FULL OR HALF DAY – Forget all the rules you've so diligently learned.  Let’s just play with
fabric.  Would quilting be more fun if corners and points didn't have to match and you
could make up the rules as you go?  Without a ruler or templates, students will learn
several techniques to cut and sew gentle curves to make a small quilt similar to the sample.
Color Odyssey:  Some color theory in terms a quiltmaker can understand.   Slide show of ways I use color in quilts
and my sources for inspiration and color schemes.  PowerPoint show and quilts.  About 50 min.

Fabric to Photo Fun:  Exploring ways to use your computer, printer, scanner and digital camera to make and
design quilts.  PowerPoint show and quilts.  45 min.

Blankets or Art?  Both traditional and art quilting have a place in our world.  PowerPoint show and quilts.  40 min.
