Driven by a life-long love of working with fiber, my work
evolved from making garments at age 8 to quilt making
starting about 15 years ago. I soon left traditional
quilting constraints behind and began exploring more
contemporary construction and design concepts.
My quilts often begin with motifs or designs from the
Middle East or my other travels. Many are made with
free cut curves and either machine pieced or raw edge
appliqué. More color and texture with threads is added
by free motion machine quilting.
